mi waka wini
my old lady is like
the sea
filled with food to nourish me
sometimes she’s shallow
sometimes she is deep
in her sands i have played
she moves her hips just like the waves
but sometimes she really just a beach
when i surf with the
boys
when i make guitar noise
anger forms clouds around her head
and i don’t want to be around
when that rain starts coming down
and she won’t let me near her bed
so mi waka wini all
alone
mi waka wini all night long
mi waka wini in the pale moon light
mi waka wini all alone
mi waka wini all night long
mi waka wini waka wini
mi waka wini means
help yourself
when you can’t get no one’s help
at sea or on the big island
if it’s worth doing get it done
no one says it can’t be fun
sometimes you got to give yourself a hand
so mi waka wini all
alone
mi waka wini all night long
mi waka wini in the pale moon light
mi waka wini all alone
mi waka wini all night long
mi waka wini waka wini
mi waka wini waka wini
mi waka wini waka wini
